If you can get a new copy of Maximum Mini 1 for €200 buy it.

There are presently only two copies available on Amazon, second hand, and they are over €750 each.

I've a set here in Longford if it's any good to you. Wheels are good condition, tyres (Yokohama A539's ) have less than 250 miles on them .

There is a proper pipe bending tool that does the job perfectly and is worth sourcing if you can. Otherwise you could use some large sockets as dies to create the radius and by large I mean inch and a half plus you want to avoid tight bends as the pipe will link easily and then you are in trouble. It's rated at 650kg capacity so can take a fair load. It runs 12" wheels too :)
It has rear support steady legs which would make it very stable when unhitched.

The 3.44 diff does roughly 17mph per 1000 revs on 12" wheels.
Some Metro City and L models came with a 3.6 diff which would be closer to 16mph/1000rpm.

Get a lift with someone, get the bus, bring a non Mini (you just need to park it in the Non-Mini area).
IMM is really about the weekend, Friday to Monday, the Sunday Show will let you see the cars but it wont give you an idea of what the IMM is about.
